Home Made Baked Beans

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 clove of garlic crushed

  • 1 onion finely diced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon herbs

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 cup dried cannellini or beans of choice

  • 1 can crushed tomatoes

  • Vegetables of choice

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

 

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium frying pan. Fry garlic and onion.

  2. Add seasonings. Stir and cook for 2 minutes

  3. Add crushed tomatoes and beans and stir.

  4. Add tomato paste and mix. Add vegetables of choice.

  5. Mix and cook for a further 20 minutes

  6. Serve with rice or sweet potatoes.
